The first line of her novel was
“Last December a woman entered my
Apartment who looked exactly like my wife.”
Reminded me of this Spike Milligan joke:
Guy comes home from holiday to find
That everything in his apartment has
Been stolen & replaced with something
Exactly the same.
He goes up to his flatmate and says:
“What happened?”
And the flatmate says:
“Who are you?”
